Hi everyone,

I've got a Sanyo 20ez that I did a full cap kit and B+ repair kit from iankellogg. Monitor works great but it is quite dim.

I set both the brightness and sub contrast pots to center, adjusted the screen on the flyback until I lost the raster lines, adjusted sub contrast next until I got pure black, and then adjusted brightness the same way. I think I did everything in the right order and correctly.

Does this mean I have a flyback that needs replacement? Monitor rejuvenation necessary?

I can also get the focus to come in ok in the center, but it gets blurry towards the edges. That leads me to believe that I have a screen and focus problem in the flyback, annd maybe replacing it will help?

foucs on a tube is an "over-all" thing
ie the "complete tube"
not just the center
or 3/4's of the way out
it is a complete thing
chk the jug first
