I got a chassis I've never powered on before. I cleaned it and capped it today. I notice the small fuse has blown. Never powering it on before should I check anything? What would make the small fuse blow?

Hmm didn't think to check the flow chart off blank screen when I haven't power it on. I'll check the hot. Go7 and Sanyo 20EZ are the same hots right? Cause I've got one of those on hand.

no they are not. but look at the data sheets if they are close it should work i would think.

While the HOTs are not exactly the same.....they can be interchanged without issues.

When I got my first Sanyo my little fuse was blown as well, I replaced it and haven't had an issue since. *knocks on wood*

I think it had high resistance, so I guess it was good. Monitor running now. when I test it the meter just climbed then it switched to 1 and just stays on that.

No, not the same, but interchangeable

Meter climbs from 1700 to 1900 then just shows a solid 1. Is that high resistance or it's shorted?

Good HOT

Think these be alright? I got some at Radio Shack a bit ago. .315 for .300 they never seem to have exactly what you want.

Not quite right but will work fine.

Thanks for the response Dokert.

I saw a site selling Go7's and Sanyo 20EZ hots together. That's what made me think they were the same.
