My sanyo keeps shrinking and expanding and is way out of focus. I'm thinking this is the flyback but idk. I see a good bit of glue is pushed out from the fly. It was working yesterday but than today it went to crap. Any opinions on what to replace? I'm going, fly, hot and b+ pot.

Yup ordered a flyback, hot, and b+ pot. Gonna give this thing a good reflow too after I get the parts and see what happens.

This problem seems intermittent so I'm going to say the whole thing could be cold solder. I'm going to put my new flyback in because why not and a new b+ pot so I can adjust easier but the reflow will happen soon. Possibly tomorrow I'll fix or next Saturday, depends when the parts come in and I'm going on vacation.

Already did an iankellog cap kit including the filter cap. It was working like a champ for a few weeks now.

Did you reflow the chassis? The neck board on these for some reason, it's common to find cold joints there... I always reheat and reflow everything now..

My success rate after jobs has gone up to almost no issues after service or repairs...

I'm going to do a good reflow but no not really. I looked for crappy solder and flowed it but now I will do the neckboard.

Ok my parts came in super quick. I put in the new flyback, a new b+ pot, and reflowed 75% of the thing. The new flyback works great but was a pain to get in. The b+ pot was done because its cheap and easy to do also the old one is a pos. I didn't do the hot but I have an extra one now. The reflow was done but nothing really looked bad. Just beefed up a lot of the joints and all. I readjusted the monitor once done got the b+ at like 107.8 but in doing so I zapped myself while the monitor was on so hard I thought I was going to die (thats why I stopped there). My hand is still really red and a little swollen but all is well. Also now it runs like silent seriously. We'll never know if the reflow or the fly did the trick but my money's on the fly. Special thanks to security0001 for extremely fast shipping, good prices, and good parts. Buy from him if you can! :D
