So I am almost finished with my Donkey Kong restoration and all I have left is the monitor. I have recapped it twice, replaced the pots, filter, etc.. and I still have a wavy image and sync issues. I'm looking for someone in the Indianapolis area who would like to have a go at it or a recommendation of someone to send it to or in the area I can take it for repair. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Did you check/set your B+ voltage? If it's off, I've seen that cause the wavy image and other problems. The test point is labelled BJ. Put the black lead on the frame, red lead on the test point, adjust to 108v with the B+ pot.

If it's still wavy, replace the filter cap (big one, 680uf@200v, IIRC). Then readjust the B+.

Yep, the pot has been replaced, the filter cap as well and the voltage has been checked. I had uploaded some videos as pictures about 45 days ago, but got so frustrated with it, I moved on to other parts of the restoration. At this point I am going to either end of breaking something (by accident or nerd rage) or giving up... so it's time for someone else to figure it out and inform me what I did wrong.

Can't anyone help this man? Won't someone think about poor Pauline?

Yep, what you're describing sounds like a bad pot or filter cap. If you've done both, we need visual evidence. By "we" I mean "the gurus" because I'm probably out of my depth. :)
