I just picked up a working Sanyo 20EZ which was in a JR. that got converted to a Konami game. Heres the problem, I'm guessing that someone hacked this chassis because I now get inverted colors trying it in a Nintendo setup.

Maybe I don't know as much as I thought about these, as I always thought flipping the switch on the middle of the chassis inverted colors, but if I flip this switch all I get is vertical collapse. Also the switch seems to be backwards in comparison to what I have in my Nintendo cabs.

Is it possible that I have a "hacked" chassis, and if so, how do I reverse it? I'm guessing this is a common question but searching is not helping me.

I wonder if your 20ez has the inverter board installed to work with the previous Konami game. Maybe if you switch the video ribbon cable over to the non-invert out, that might fix it?

I personally have not seen this board in any of my Nintendo cabinets, but I recall reading some posts about it being used in non-Nintendo games when hooked up to a Sanyo 20ez.

or he could reinstall the inverter board and that should reverse it with out hacking the chassis again.

Here's Bob Roberts Sanyo video inversion kit...

If these parts are populated on your chassis, you'll have to reverse this kit to make the chassis work with classic Nintendo games.

Yep, looks like it has these parts on it, and theres no inverter board. Acually I've never seen one, are they readily available and affordable? Either way this is just another spare monitor I picked up so I'm not in dire need or anything, but good to know what I have.
