recently pulled the 20EZ from my Super Mario and put a cap kit in. Put it back in, started it up, reset the colors and focus and it ran nice, looked good. after about 15 minutes the picture jumped, (like you changed channels on a tv set). about a minute later, it did it again, then did it several times quickly, then the picture collapsed into a verticle line down the center of the screen which flashed brightly several times before going black. Any Idea what I blew?

Ok, Ill check those when I get out there. One more question, 2 of the caps were non-polorized, but one of the ones Bob sent me as replacements was polorized, would this have caused it?

Just looked at the extended cap kit and I don't see any non-polarized caps in it at all. Are you sure that you pulled the right caps? This could very well have caused your problem.

yes, C162 and C411 both call for 4.7uf25v non polarized caps (marked so both on the cap sheet and on the circuit board)
Bob sent me 2 4.7uf35v caps, one non polarized and one regular so I used both. Guess I should replace the polarized one while I have the board out then
I also got the kit for the audio board, but havent put it in yet, its showing C371 also being 4.7uf25v NP. If he put a NP cap in that pack Ill use it
