I just finished a cap kit for my DK Jr. It now sounds great, and the picture has no more jail bars, but the colors are all screwed up. Did I connect something the wrong way when I re-assembled it?

Looks like you've connected the video inverter board up to invert the video signal. If you have a small board on top of flyback cage, check the wire going from the that board to the main monitor board. You probably have it move from invert to non-invert, or vice versa.

Yep, that did it. Thanks.

Now it shows the correct colors, but the red and blue seem to be out of sync. For example, on the springboard level, it looks like there are two springboards, a red one just a little above a blue one (or maybe the other way around). I tried adjusting the pots on the small inverter board on the flyback cage, but I can't seem to get it to converge into one springboard. Also, Mario looks fuzzy. In additions to adjusting those pots on the inverter board, I tried adjusting the ones inside the flyback cage, the ones on the neckboard, and the ones on the small board on the left hand side of the chassis, but I still can't seem to get it right. Is there anywhere else that adjustments can be made?

Convergence Rings IMO, with any luck someone has "painted" a line across your rings previously and all you have to do is line up the paint line again. If not, do a couple searches online to figure out the best way to adjust them BEFORE doing anything... If you start messing with convergence you can make your relatively minor problem now MUCH MUCH worse.

Also, I don't believe DK Jr. has a test mode of any type so you will almost have to do this adjust blind, although it can be done...
