Sanyo 20 ezv Cap Question

There was not stripe on the cap I was replacing and the chassis did not have the usual +/- I just want to be sure I placed cap in proper orientation. I drew a picture. It's located at c162. I'm guessing the P/N is positive / negative. Just not which is which.

There are 3 bipolar caps. I don't remember off the top of my head if that number is one of them, but it sounds like it is. The bipolars don't have a required orientation.

Just checked, yes, that's one of the bipolars. The install instructions included with the kit should make note of this.
 
i would hope where ever you received your kit from it should notate and explain this. all our kits that have non-polarized caps explains this. NP or BP are Non-Polar or Bi-Polar which means they are not polarized and in the simplest terms they are designed to have voltage go either direction which means you can't put them in backwards and they go in either way. NP or BP can interchange with each other so you can put a NP where a BP was and put a BP where a NP was.
