Ok, I have this Mario brothers cabinet that had a working jamma game in it. It had one of the later Sanyo 20 EZ monitors (the ones with the inverter board, this one had a 1984 date and a "Right Monitor" sticker on it).
Took the jamma board and wiring out, took an original Mario Bros. board and harness (had to cut it a bit to use the newer power supply, but it worked) and installed that.
The picture is both upside down and not quite syncing (particularly horizontally). I was able to adjust the horizontal to the point where half the image was stable and the other half was a little jumpy, but then I lost that when I tried to get it a little better and then couldn't get it back.
I have tried both going through the inverter board and skipping it entirely, with identical results, what am I doing wrong here.
