I am recaping a chassis for dk cocktail. Three of the caps dont match those for the 20ezv should i use them anyway? The original caps were 47uf 160v was at c410 or c472. 10uf 250v which was at c407 or c471. And 47uf 16v at c458.

I just did a rebuild of a DK cocktail. Its not a 20ez, its a z2ab. I ordered the other caps from mouser.com.

Sometimes the people who put together cap kits update the caps in a kit, because of service bulletins or other factors that some of us are not aware of. If you got this kit from Bob Roberts, it's as easy as sending him an email asking about it. And there's always the off chance that some of the caps on the chassis were replaced with incorrect values in the past. Of course this is easy to tell usually because the caps may be a different brand than the OEM or you could just cross reference the monitor manual. You've probably already check it, but I thought I'd say it just in case.

I just used the 20ez cap list and bought them from Mouser. I don't have a manual or schematics for the 13" monitor so I didn't know for sure which caps to use. All matched except the 3 I mentioned. Does anyone have the cap values and locations for the 13in? I only know where one of the three belongs the other two I forgot to write down there inital locations.

Are they different in Value or Voltage or both?

If you have a 47uf @ 25V, it can be replaced by 47uf @35V, or even 47uf @ 250V... as long as the voltage is the same or higher it will be ok.

Some caps can be replaced with different values, but it all depends on what their function is.

The only 13" Sanyo I ever worked on was an AZZ series. Here's the cap list...

Sanyo 14-AZZ 13"

1uf160V C475/C610
4.7uf25V C162/C206/C408 All BP Caps
4.7uf160V C406
10uf16V C479
10uf160V C471
47uf16V C208
47uf160V C410
100uf16V C211
100uf25V C205/C457
100uf160V C462
220uf16V C161/C202
330uf25V C474
330uf25V C484 BP Cap

There's a lot of (early) oddball Sanyo monitors out there.....so this might not match yours.
