just got this and I'm a dumb ass and wanted to put it in the basement where my cruisin usa was. The cruisin seat unbolts and slides out. I thought Rush did the same. Guess what, it doesn't and now it's in my garage, cruisin is gone and I can't get it where I need it.

Anyone run into this problem? And how did you fix it?

I think the dedicated rush the rock separates but not the original sf rush.

That's the problem. My rush unbolts and separates, but my buddies Rush is one piece. Either you have to work with it, or cut it in half yourself and rebolt it back together with plates. Just an FYI, he got his down his basement steps, one piece and all.

You can disassemble a Rush to make it easier to deal with, which may help, depending how much room you have/need. You can take the green plastic piece around the monitor off, as well as the seat. This reduces the weight, height, and width... but of course may not be enough. If it's not... yeah, cut it, or try unbolting it and disassembling it as cleanly as possible.

That's extraordinarily sound advice.

For my first one, I disassembled the entire thing, got it downstairs in one piece, and then re-assembled it down there. When my buddy bought his, the guy he bought it from had already sawed it in half so it was much easier to deal with and get into his basement. When I start working on my 2nd one (which is in storage), I haven't decided which route I'm going to take. That one isn't cut in half either and is mostly disassembled already so I'll probably just do it that route again. Plus, I have a couple of local college football players that are my "hired muscle" that take the heavier/bulkier games down (and rarely, up) the stairs if my friend and I can't handle it by ourselves. Thankfully I have a straight shot of stairs from the garage directly into the basement, making things much easier than when we do stuff at his house.

Yup, used the saw, and cut it. Was an easy trip down the stairs after that, and much lighter in 3 peices (bezel, pedestal, main cab).
