Game comes up,coins up then it says waiting on other drivers but this game is not linked.Went into settings to check the network and trying apears on the screen.Any ideas? Thanks Ed

have you tried setting all the settings back to default? maybe it has something to do with the tournament settings.

Are you saying it stays on that screen? Its normal for that message to appear for a second even if its lone. But if its stuck there thats a different story, in that case a quick guess would be the hard drive (if your referring to it being stuck after selecting your track). Id at least start there since you can test it in the service menu.

I'm converting my hard drives to compact flash right now - I have the adapters and the cf cards should arrive tomorrow. Maybe that ought to be your next step based on what these guys are saying. I think the total for my adapters and cards, for 2 rushes, was around $30 shipped. Feel free to PM me if you want to know what I got.

Hmmm just throwing this out there, listed as a field replaceable part.....
U32 A-5343-30031-1 CPU Boot ROM......

I have a rush the rock that was doing the same thing. I did a harddrive test in test mode and the game started working correctly again. For how long I don't know though.

My game went back to doing the original poster's problem on stalling out on waiting for drivers. I'm thinking this is a hard drive problem because doing a hard drive test fixes the problem until the game is turned off and then back on.

I disconnected the HD and turned the game on. The game only went through the steering wheel test as expected. I then turned the game off and connected the HD and turned the game on. It worked fine after that for the entire day. Hopefully it will still work tomorrow for my daughter's birthday party.

could be not enough voltage to run
no matter how many HD's you put in there, if theres not the correct number of electrons flowing to run the game, all kinds of wacky problems will occur

get your multi meter out put it on DC with the black lead on ground and the red lead on the +5 volts
check the power supply. probably the +5 volts isnt high enough
look at the connectors if they are burnt, inpeding electron flow
sometimes just unconnecting and re-connecting can "clean" them but if that works id replace the pins in there
