Hi,
I am new to this forum and was hoping someone out there can assist me with my concerns. Just to throw it out there, I have no experience fixing arcade machines whatsoever. I mainly just Google things but I haven't found anything that could help me.
To explain issue #1, I am having trouble getting the correct LED displays when entering "Game Settings Mode" by holding the "Service" button. According to this guide, https://www.betsonparts.com/media/hbi/service-manuals/145/Sports Arena Manual.pdf, I should be seeing LED 1 and LED 2 correspond to the Function # but they are both blank. Only LED 3 lights up which is for the Settings #. I have gone through the "Test Mode" and confirmed that every test went smoothly. Even the LED 1 and LED 2 were lit throughout the 6 tests. Trying to hit the Volume down/up doesn't change any of the values for the LEDs. Hitting the "Service" button doesn't do anything. Hitting the "Clear" button does return me to the regular game mode but that's all I can do. I have also tried replugging every cable connector but no luck.
Issue #2 can be broken into 2 parts. This revolves around the actual game play. Assuming you hit the "Stop" button to start playing, sometimes it will behave properly with the single light spiraling around or suddenly, it turns on half of the lights until I hit the "Stop" button again to end the game. The second part of this comes when I actually do land on a red light but the prize doesn't drop. I've gone through the prize vending unit test and it went perfectly fine.
Attached is a snippet of the second issue where half the lights turn on after initiating a game.
