Shot gun
Hi,
I find the following things go bad.
1: Broken plastic
2: Colder solder joints on optical board because of the kids banging the gun around.
3: Break in one of the wires.
a: Ground
b: +5v line
c: Trigger sw wire
d; Pump sw wire
e: Optical sensor return wire.
4 Wires on basic pistols (no reload)
5 On pump guns (reload)
4: Plugged barrel
5: Missing lens
6: The switch the trigger engages goes bad.
7: Pump action broken or switch goes bad.
8: Missing screws
9: Bad optical sensor
There not that hard to fix. Alot of it is from abuse verses a part actually going bad.
Parts are readly available on ebay or the net.
Make sure you get the proper connector on the end that plugs into a wirring harness or your board.
there are adapters available.
