I didn't take these photos, I found them online. They were taken at an old amusement park here in San Antonio that closed down in the early 80's.

I tried contacting the current landowner to see if I could come in and get some more pics for you guys, but that was almost 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten a response yet. Plus, I think the entire site has been bulldozed over.

Anyways, here are some of the pictures. One of the games is definitely a Nintendo cabinet (maybe Donkey Kong or Popeye). I'm not quite sure what the other, collapsed cabinet is.

Hmm... could it be?

A sorry looking, gutted Nintendo cabinet. :(

Wait, that pile of rotten wood next to it is a cabinet? Man, this is sad. I think it is an old Midway cab (Pac, Galaga, etc) that was converted to a Time Pilot '84.

Here is what I believe used to be the arcade room. I spy a monitor, another Ninty cabinet, some sort of vending machine, and other rotting machines/parts.

I just thought I would share these pics with you all. They are kind of cool to look at in a strange way.

wtf.......hyde where is this....pm me please

wonder if there is a stash somewhere?

I'll pm you in a bit. But I checked out the location on GoogleEarth. The entire site looks like it has been demolished.

Sorry man. Thanks for pics.

Now you can't use Ninty for anything in those pictures. Ninty is used to describe Mint Nintendo games. :D

Pfft. :D

EDIT: My unquestionably accurate research has turned up an image of the site from GoogleEarth, captioned by yours truly. Enjoy. :)

What DC is getting at is there might be a warehouse somewhere loaded with games. Doubt it but it couldnt hurt to try and see.

davin,

yesturday i went to look at a pin locally, and through casual conversation,

found out the operator sold a certain guy in chattanooga about 275 machines

so there are warehouses here full of games , these operators have been holding for years

a few of us texas guys are wanting to find a warehouse raid of our own.

so how do you do that?

leave no stone unturned!

Haha, I remember that warehouse raid! I almost went to it as a matter of fact. But a lot of the machines weren't very collectable. Mostly late '80s stuff and conversions if I recall correctly. But the seller only wanted $50 per game. PM coming your way...

Pretty terrible. The Nintendo cabinet doesn't look like its falling apart, though. Hard to tell if it might be salvageable. The rest doesn' t look like there is anything worth taking home.

Yeah I was there, there's a whole thread about it just couldn't find it.
Here are the pics I took from that warehouse of games:

I ended up with about 7 or 8 games from there.

There was a big thread about it but after seeing the pics there really wasnt much there that I wanted so I never went down there.
