Sad pictures of arcades 11/04/25

This is a "so others may live" mission. The only reason we all can find original parts to restore/fix/deconvert our games is because another game was parted out - it's a sad reality that most don't ever think about.
Yes.

Is it the Sundance cabinet? I noticed that too!
:p
It wouldn't surprise me if they had one at one point. They were into vector beam stuff. There is a solar quest, speed freaks that I'm going to try to restore, the star castle, rip off and a barrier.

The roof fell in on barrier it's unrecognizable. I only knew it was because of a old picture.
@Dillweed on Barrier... If anyone is motivated to save a game that terrible...

If you end up with spare vector beam / cine parts let me know. I've got a number of irons in the cinematronics fire that need parts like the Keltron and maybe a PSU.

I will have some parts. Idk what yet. As I'm trying to make sure I don't get rid of parts I need for speed freaks or my star castle. But there should be a power supply or two.

This is truly sad, but reflective of the mindset.

I had an OP in Morris, Il (Donico) who had a closet full of PCBs. I left a card with a note "If you ever decide to get rid of these, call me."

They got rid of them. They didn't call me. *$^@*($^@)*&^$@*&^$*(@&^$*@&^$*!&^$*(&$^@!*&$
I left a voicemail with an operator, telling him that I would buy his Neo-Geo Goldie from a bus stop. He never called. Years later, I found that exact cabinet at a local electronics recycling center, and bought it for $25, along with a $25 Tron cabaret.
