Sad: Atari Arabian converted to 48-in-1

they left the art intact which is the only real thing of value about an arabian. Would be easy to convert it back if you wanted to. Boards are easy enough to find. The marquee might be slightly more rare but I bet the guy who multied this may have it and be willing to give it to you if you asked.

Well put. Agreed.

You're just mad because it's not you so you could have parted it out before you made it a 48-1.

Wow....

Dude - you're never positive.

If you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Back on topic, I have an Arabian. I need a new CPO. The artwork is why I keep in in my arcade.

Why do people do this?

If somoene wants to convert it back - I have an extra marquee for this one...

I also need a cpo - mine is ok - but not perfect... unfortunately none out there except mame marquees

I make nice comments all the time.

I know the seller of this machine. I bought my Popeye and Karnov off him. He is in a business now where he is taking classics and turning them into multicades. He did a Dig Dug, Frogger and now Arabian multicade. I hope it works out for him, but I've told him to try and turn the classics back into classics and not multicades.

I dunno--I don't consider cutting holes in the CP keeping the art intact. And what happened to the marquee?

My big complaint with the multiboard craze is that it often takes a classic game that might be economically feasible for most arcade collectors to restore/repair, and pushes it over the brink into unfeasible territory for most. Most multis like this get bought by non collectors, and the game will probably end up trashed sometime down the road.

On the bright side (for people who own them), intact Arabians just got a bit more rare!

Exactly! Your keen insight into the actual motives of people you don't even know is truly remarkable. You are obviously a highly evolved and intelligent human being, and we are all quite honored and grateful at your presence in this forum.

Unless of course this was an attempt at sarcastic humor, in which case I must admit, you got me with that one. Can't pull anything over on you I guess. Bravo!
