s5277b diode equivalent

Does anyone know an equivalent for a s5277b diode found on many Nintendo boards?

Looks like a plain-ole 1A 100V diode, in which case a 1N400x should be suitable (where x >= 2).

You might post a snip of the circuit it's in, just to make sure there's nothing else important (I've only worked on a few Nintendo boards, so I'm not familiar with that part in specific).

Thank you. I was thinking of either a 1N4002 or 1N4934 (I'm kind of hoping a N4002 since I have those on hand). But I'm not an expert on this.

Looks that that's a circuit for driving the coin counters. Speed (recovery time) shouldn't be an issue here.

I'd put in a 1N4004 (or 1N4002) if it were mine (actually, I'd probably not replace it, as I would probably not run coin counters).

NTE's website says the NTE552 is an equivalent. I always check there for goofball stuff. 1N4937 also looks like an equivalent.

If it is just coin counters, I'd use something like 1n4004 or 1N4007 as like DarrenF said, recovery time doesn't matter with the coin counters.
