Seriously, let's settle this once and for all. Who is the better Street Fighter character to use?
Bonus points for belligerent responses.

I prefer Ryu myself.

It depends on the version of Street Fighter. In SFII: The World Warrior (the original SFII) there was no significant difference between the two characters. In SFII: Champion Edition, Ken got what many people consider to be a better version of the Dragon Punch (more horizontal range). Ken is generally considered to be the more powerful character in SFIII: Third Strike too.

Gozer I like you but....
KEN is much stronger.

Definetly depends on the version of the game. I think ken's tumble roll and hurricane kick were more impressive in later versions of SF2, but Ryu came back strong in Super Street Fighter 2 with the super fireball. Although flashy, I didn't notice any noticeable difference in Ken's flaming dragon punch in that version.

Gozer this is an awesome thread by the way, THUMBS UP!!!
Very true it all depends on the version, World warrior was Ryu's year.
C.E belonged to Ken.
but if we are going to talk "later"versions then I say Ken claimed all superiority and the ultimate crown in SVC Chaos and...... then I have not even started talking about the evil alter ego HADOKEN.

Of course, there's always the argument in Ryu's favor just based on looks alone. He just seemed like the more badass pick of the two. Don't even get me started on the purple outfit look they tried to stick Ken with.
