Man, it's been a weird year with alot of ups and downs but we're still alive and kicking!

I would like to thank all of our friends on KLOV for all of the good advice and for all the members that took a sec to come down and help out when we needed it the most.

Also tonight marks the last night of our High Score Off tournament. We're been seeing alot of great scores and hope to see more all throughout the day. At 7pm we'll be turning off all the lights and our live DJ will been playing great 80's tunes until 11pm. Other than handing out trophies and prizes for high scores, we'll be also be giving out raffle prizes every 1/2 hour, from 7-11pm. If you're in the Minneapolis area, you're welcome to come in and have a good time.

Once again, thanks for all of the support.

Great tournament and party last night, Sage! The Frogger and Galaga scores are mine... Congrats on a successful 1st year, and here's to many more!

Nice job. To hell with the naysayers. Making it past the first year is a big deal. I hope you have good plans for future business strategy to remain competitive. Keep pushing, it looks like you're staying ahead of the wind.

Congrats on making it a year, I love the place.

TransAmFan, I took another run at Galaga but petered out at 950K. Didn't help that I was fascinated with DR. running up the Q*Bert score next to me. Congrats.

Here's some pics of raffle prize winners...

Our High Score Hall of Fame Board. Everyone that made the board received a membership card worth 20 free games and access to special events. If anyone matches or beats a current high score, they will also receive a HSHOF Membership card.

We had a header for the board but it got damaged during the night. Will put up a new one soon.

Everyone had a great time. I met Tim Balderramos and gave me a copy of his book (Confessions of a Pac-Man Junkie) He's a really nice guy and hope to have more time to chat with him at Rusty Quarters.

Here's a look at our current high scores:

I got to get in there and get my Indiana Jones trophy. :) I had seen the pics, followed on Facebook, but had never been in there...even though that kind of place is definitely my thing. Because of the monthly tournament, I stopped in for an hour to try it out and played a few games to get a high score for kicks. I hate Lyndale Ave and it is kind of a pain to get to, but now that I have been there I will go back.

You *really* do need to do something about signage though. Get rid of the Puff n Stuff sign and get more arcade related signage. I was looking for it specifically and knew which side of the road it was on because of the GPS and I still drove right past it.

We sold that sign (during P N' S Liquidation) but was never picked up. We want to get a new sign insert but the company that made it when out of business. My friend that did the front vinyl might help us out with a new sign but one of the plastic inserts is cracked (we think a thrown beer bottle) and for us to get get worked on, not only that we have to pay a sign guy, but need to get a permit from the city first. We're still on a tight budget so it's just going to take some time for that whole sign situation to get resolved.

Next time when you come by, we do have parking behind Jackson's Coffee off of Bryant Ave.

89k on Dig Dug, Mitch? Seriously? And Tim Balderramos comes in and no Pac-Man? For shame! (kidding)
