When are you going to be there? I'm helping my sister and her husband move into their new home in St. Paul on January 8th (probably) and will be picking up a game from Allen (alejandromad) that same day. I need to see if I can steal the kids for a bit and make a trip over to check out the arcade too.

Congratulations, Sage! I know that the past few weeks has been tough, but you've finally made it there. Best of the luck on the new opening!

I'll be sure to get by and drop some quarters soon.

Good luck!

You would save yourself a ton of money on games if you could fix them yourself and buy them broken.

Oh and come on now! Its not THAT hard to find '90s games! LOL!

so far it's going good, but having some problems with some coin mechs. Hoping to take a look at 12 and get them fixed by 3pm.

If anyone wants to help with fixing coin mechs (4 Machines), I would greatly appreciate it. I'll pay you $$$ and Pizza for your time/parts.

Best of luck. I love that we have seen several classic arcades spring up nationwide. I think it was mentioned, but I'd love to see some pics of opening day...here or on your site.

Cheers,

Bob

I was thinking sometime late next week. We're enroute to Detroit currently making a pit-stop here in Benton Harbor, MI. I'll PM you Ben and maybe we could bring our families for a gathering.

Next week we want to get a lower wattage bulbs for RQ. We got 100's in right now, going to step it down to 60-70's soon. I actually like it this bright but I got to give the people what they want... If it was up to me I would have bowling ally carpet and black lights but I took a poll and everyone HATED that idea.

Also we're working with our building manager to somehow make it cooler at RQ. It's 80º inside but 35º outside... WTF? We don't want our customers dieing of heatstroke due to sweating from heavy winter clothing and extreme heat from the machines.

We're trying to get Tempest and Centipede running ASAP.

We've had alot of requests for t-shirts... I'll see what we can do.

Our Coke Bottler Rep should be sending us cases of Full Throttle and bottled water with our next shipment, hopefully next week.

Thanks once again for everyone coming down to RQ to play our games, making our little arcade a success, and a super thanks for everyones patience when a game breaks down. We're in the prossess of fixing all of the minor problems with a couple of our machines and should be all cleared up within a week. Remember, the more you play, the more games we'll be able to get in for you to enjoy.

I also want to give a special thanks to Allan (alejandromad) and Ryan (ballytablewiz). If it wasn't for them taking the time out of there busy lives to help (at the time) a complete stranger out, we wouldn't have a Rusty Quarters...Period.

Thanks guys!
