Guys, got some great referrals on this game, picked on up, but when driving, the force feedback steering wobbles left to right while driving straight, my other does not do it. SO you cannot drive straight, your car is always shaking left right left right.

I am thinking I am to start with a new potentiometer? Any advise on where to begin would be great. In the interum, can i simply disconnect the force feedback motor?

it's probably the 5k steering pot..and you can disconnect the force feedback motor too and the steering should work, but if the pot is going bad, the steering may still be off some

Could someone please tell me where the steering pot is located??

I've looked all around in there and I can't find it! I think my steering pot might be going bad as well, would love to test it and tell. Thanks!!!

You need to drop the steering wheel, via 4 bolts underneath it. You may also need to remove the bolts that hold the bezel, depending on how tight it is.

Once the wheel is lowered, you will see the pot mounted on the backside of the steering bracket - it has 3 wires running to it.
