I seem to remember an op showing me a Rush the Rock sign (maybe neon or something or backlit maybe) but for the life of me I cannot seem to find anything about it or what it looks like or even worse where to get one.

Any clues ... does this exist or is it a figment of my imagination (again)

Thanks

Greg

You are likely thinking of the topper for that dual Cruisin' USA...

Yeah, those came with what was called the Deluxe Linking Kit. I've got the whole setup, mine is just regular Rush instead of Rush the Rock. The things are huge and basically a thick piece of plexi mounted to a metal enclosure that houses 4 CFL's.

I have a thin one that slides into the little metal bracket that is directly above the player on top of the cabinet. It is small, and feels like it is made out a that rigid marquee material that you would normally put behind plexiglas. It is only about 10 or 11 inches in size and is basically used to "announce" the added features for the Rush the Rock enhancement...

I believe that one is part of what is called the Standard Linking Kit. All of these were detailed a bit more in the back of either one or both Rush manuals.

The Cruisin' ones I see fairly often (I even had one for a while) but not any of the RTR ones.

Guessing these are impossible to get huh. Would be nice to have though.

Oh well.

Thanks for the info fellas!

Greg

My buddy has RTRs the with topper. His has a broken plexi on the front though.

Thought I'd just post the pics for you.

Well it isn't neon but still cool.

Not sure I can even fit that on top of my games that sign looks huge.

Still would like to find one if they are around (once I know measurements)

Greg

I wrote down the measurements for the topper to install it onto one of my models, but I lost it. I'll eventually get back to it and re-measure. If memory serves me right it was about 8 inches deep, 52 inches long and 17 inches high. Memory might fail me though. Maybe that was the measurements from the Cruisn topper? Ah hell.

I've got a Cruisin' topper that's for sale if that's what you need...

From CA to VA would be a nightmare to ship.

Even though the Cruisin' one is cooler (and I like it a lot) I am getting 2 RTRs (being delivered in about 2 hours actually) so I would prefer the RTR sign.

If someone in VA had a super super cheap Cruisin' one I could get for cheap I wouldn't mind hanging it on the wall as well.
