I bought a bare cabinet from an auction a few weeks ago and I've slowly been repairing it since it was missing a lot of components. Today I received the last of my order of parts, and the game actually works and turns on! I have sound, video and all the controls work great. The problem that I'm having is the display. It's super washed out and you can't really see anything. The cabinet didn't come with the original CRT so I bought a conversion box to VGA and I'm using a computer monitor. This isn't a long term solution, I just wanted to get it working before dumping more money into it for a CRT monitor.

I'm not sure what to adjust or what's going on with the washed out display. I went into the game calibration screen settings and the RGB screen looks fine, and I've adjusted the size so that's good too. I've messed with contrast, black levels, saturation, and individual colors and no luck. What am I missing or what am I doing wrong? Let me know what else I can post or take photos of to assistPXL_20241104_222331263.MP.jpgPXL_20241104_222338052.MP.jpg

If you're utilizing a GBS 8200 signal converter board you'll need to adjust the color pots near the video input connector and change the Geometry clamp values in order to avoid the pink tint on the picture. This video explains it well:
