OK, I know there are a TON of force feedback info in the tech area, but none of them really key into my problem....
I have 2 force feedback board. The first board that i have keeps blowing fuses and the Q2 chip has a burn mark by it, telling me that its probably no good.
The second board I have worked, but pulled hard left. So I thought the problem might have been the Q1 chip. I took the Q1 chip off the first board, and installed it in the Q1 spot on the second board. I hooked it up and after like 10 seconds, BOOM! there goes the Q2 chip, cracked in half and a small burn spot in the same exact spot as the first friggin board... NOTE<, I did not have this board hooked up to the motor when it blew the chip.
By chip i mean OPA541AP.
My question is, Do i just need to replace BOTH OPA541AP chips, or will they just blow again? Are there any voltages I could check to see if power coming is is good?
Any help is always very much appreciated!!!
