I have a Rush the Rock Alcatraz that constantly reboots when turned on at the "steering wheel test" screen. It never makes it to the game. I have replaced the basics such as power supply (adjusted/confirmed voltages) and hard drive (with a flash drive kit) and the problems remain. The steering pot appears to be ok as well. Any ideas?

I though I read somewhere that there was a fix sent out from the factory on changing a crystal frequency.....

Check the edge connector on the board. I know road burners had an issue with heat around the ground pins of the jamma harness, I think rush used the same boardset.

Did it start to do this or did you get it this way?
I found that harddrive images cause this, try to make a drive with the rushrk.chd file from mame and see if it works. I've seen rushae.chd files that dont play well .

What voltage do you have on the +5?

On mine, I had to adjust the +5 to 5.2 measured at the hard drive connector otherwise it would reboot in the middle of races.

I have same issue, did you figure it out.
