Just picked this up today for $25. Was converted to a Rush n Attack which I was told played blind. The monitor was outside the cab and the guy said it didn't work. Just found out from Dokert it is because it has a WG tube/yoke and G07 chassis.

What to do, what to do...

Put a vector monitor back in it, do some custom programming, and have the only vector Rush n Attack! :D

Actually, it needs to be a Tempest again, but I imagine the cost would be ridiculously expensive to piece it together.

I was going to pick that up but i thought it'd irk the hell out of me every time I walked past it. I want a Tempest; I'd take a Rush'n Attack. However, I don't want their illegitimate offspring.

I vote for Golden Tee. There aren't enough of them out there.

Well it's not going back to a Tempest (at least not on my watch).

I will probably offer it up for trade for a JAMMA cab (or just MAME it).

Keep the guts of the game. Then clean up/repair the cabinet and put Rich's Major Havoc art kit on it and I bet you just the cabinet alone would sell for a pretty penny!

Superbee already has a project Tempest...

I might offer it up in trade for a JAMMA cab or just MAME it (I know it is sacrilege but I kind of dig the cabinet).
