I recently got a San Fransisco Rush 2049 sit down arcade for my garage and when I got it home I noticed the force feedback is shaking from left to right. It is a bit random and seems like you're driving on rough terrain even when you're going in a straight line on a highway. Everything else on the game is in wonderful shape, but I've never worked on force feedback wheels. Any thoughts on where to start? Could I be as lucky as just adjusting it in the control settings or ordering a new belt for it? Thanks for any replies.

It sounds like the steering pot. Suzzo happ has them, usually run around $25 to $35. THat happened on my cruis'n exotica and that fixed it.

try calibrating the steering. Also check to see if the wires are attached correctly to the pot. Someone twisted them on to one of my rushes. After I soldered them in place, and recalibrated the jitters went away.

if your going to buy a new pot, look into getting the steering belt too..
