Rush 2049 Monitor -- too dark & controls display is blank

Hey guys need some help tweaking this thing.

Colors look great but the screen is a lot darker than it should be. So much so that its hard to see to drive.

Also the on screen display for changing things comes up as a blank black box.

Any ideas?

I should mention that the wires from the connector board on the monitor to the wire harness had their connector chopped off and the wires are simply wire nutted together. Also there is still one connector left hanging -- no clue what it is though. Pic is attached.

LMK if anyone has any ideas.

Greg

1) What type of monitor is it?

2) Let's see a pic of this blank control box...

Ok so a little more research and I have found a thread about this issue.

Sounds like I need a reset. Problem is I cannot see the OSD to do the reset.

They mention "crank up the flyback" - I have no idea what this means. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Ok Update - I manage to find an adjustment on the chassis that bumped up things enough to see the OSD. Did a factory reset and then increased the brightness on the OSD (it was super low) so I can see it. Made a bunch of adjustments and the game looks much much better now. Still needs some tweaking but the tracks are all playable now.
