Rush 2049 accelerator rolling on its own / blowing pots?
I have two Rush 2049s that I've now replaced three accelerator pots across the two, and I'm wondering if maybe I'm not putting them in right or there's a board problem damaging them or misinterpreting the resistances. The symptom in-game is very slow acceleration (in one case it was pretty much impossible to reach 4th without using manual and shifting very early). In the controls test, the screen shows the input "rolling", that is, after pressing the pedal all the way down, or releasing it, or in both cases, the screen shows the input counting upwards or downwards, as if the pedal is moving very slowly towards its actual position. Is this just bad pots? Are they getting beaten because I'm putting them in wrong? Maybe a board issue? Any advice would help.
