130+ acres in Boulder Creek CA, filled with old cars and electronics. In his segment of the show, Roy says he invented a system used on the Voyager spacecraft, along with a lot of other inventions, and keeps stuff to make new inventions. Problem is, almost everything has been left to the elements and subjected to bad weather for years.

In a camera shot as they begin cleanup, soaked with rain in the woods: green Computer Space.

(sigh)

You lose :(

Don't understand the "you lose" part, but that Computer Space certainly lost. Bummer.

I was first - just bustin' your stones. I saw it the night it aired and I tried to find a screenshot but couldn't. I though for sure someone else would post about it, I know how hawk-eyed some of these guys are ID-ing games in the backgound of pictures. That truly is a loss.

I wonder if the show has some dedicated forum, and if anyone brought it up there?

Another note: the last two CPs I saw in person were also green. I wonder if that's the most common color...

I met Roy today! First thing I gotta say is that Roy is one of the nicest people and that show made him seem more "out there" than he really is. I saw some of the property where they filmed and it wasn't that bad at all. From what I saw he is not 1% of the hoarder that you normally see on that show.

For officials from the county to come on his land and tell him how many cars he can have is anti-American. It is his land..... And then on the show they crush the cars there on his land. All the glass etc left behind after crushing those cars. You couldn't drive on the road because of the huge ruts left by the tow trucks and moving equipment.

Well on to the cabinet....20+ years outside in a redwood forest and the fiberglass is still really nice but that is all that is really left. The control panel and shell. Tempting to make it a MAME cabinet because there are so many parts missing.....but that feels wrong sorta. lol It would be great to restore to original but I think the parts are impossible to find. Ideas or suggestions?

Wow, that is cool. Who cares if it's empty.
