so i just got off the phone with a guy that bought my popeye cocktail, when he was here he mentioned he had a roy clark pin. I called him up and said i was intrested in the pin, he said the playfeild was flaking and the glass was missing but everything works. I asked how much he said $200.00, is that a fair price? I havent seen it yet.

There's a guy here in California who has been trying to sell one of those for moths. He was asking $200. Then $300. Then $450. Then he started cycling back down and up again. I still see it pop up periodically. I think he has two of them actually. I don't think they are considered very valuable in general. More of a novelty. There's another one that's been for sale here lately called Foxy Lady or something like that. Same kinda deal...keeps popping up but doesn't seem to get any takers.

yeah, its roy clark. unless your a fan then soso. but i have space for a cocktail pin and this is the only one ive seen down here.

Well than grab it. There were some similar ones at CAX last year and people did seem to enjoy playing them. Just don't expect to get rich when it comes time to sell it. Not sure where you will find parts for them either.

Edit: But offer $50.

There was one local on CL that the person ended up giving away. I worked out a 75 dollar price after 10 emails then she would never email me back. A few weeks later she posted another ad that gave the unit away.

I would pass. Terrible game and terrible price given the condition (IMO).

I couldn't agree more......those things are toys. Unobtainable custom chips, oddball/hard to find TTL chips, assemblies made out of plastic (which sould have been made out of METAL, like every other pinball manufacturer). Total garbage!

i have never saw a roy clark one in person but i saw many pictures and i dont think they go for much. i used to have a gottleib premier night moves cocktail pinball and i sold it for $450 but it was very nice shape. years later i met some guy in pittsburgh who had 4 gottlieb premier carribean cruises (rarer than night moves) and he wanted $350 each. i ended up getting him down to $200 for 1 and took it home. its in great shape and has the lowest plays of any game i own. i wish i would have bought ALL of the ones he had. i called back 1 week later and....they.....were....all....SOLD!!!!

i wouldnt think a roy clark in great shape would bring over $300..........especially if it has damage

They will sell for $200 if they are in nice shape. It takes a while though. I had 3 of these a couple of years ago. They are kinda cool for the novelty, but as a pin, they are not real interesting. Finding parts is a pain.
