I have a Rowe WP100 Storm that I added the preamp accessory board to and am now trying to add the IR Remote interface (kit 21957502) to. The instructions for the interface are spot on except for the step to hook up the red and green wires for the volume control. The instructions say:
- remove the existing red volume control wire from terminal 4 on the volume control/cancel terminal block and tape it up.
- move the jumper from terminals 4/5 to terminals 5/6
- connect the green wire from the interface to terminal 5
- connect the red wire from the interface to terminal 4
- set S1 switch #4 to off (all 4 switches are currently in the off position)
The issue is that the jukebox only has 5 terminals so I'm uncertain of the wiring as-well-as where the jumper goes. Assuming the numbering for the terminals goes left to right, currently, the jumper is on 2/3, the red wire for the factory volume control is on 3, the black wire for the factory volume control is on 4 and then I have a secondary volume control with cancel button connected to the jumper on terminal 2 and then to the corresponding black wire on terminal 4 (wire for cancel isn't currently connected).
A couple of minor side notes. The person I bought the kit from appears to have had to replace the red and green wire from the interface so now they are red and black in case you notice that in the pic. Also, the red wire has a piece of tape on it that says right channel and the black (green) wire says left channel.
Would anyone be able to clarify where the existing wires and jumper need to move to (or if I can keep them at all with the IR remote) as-well-as where I should connect the red and green wire from the interface to on terminals 1 thru 5?
