Have the regular manual but not the cd player supplement, it's on it's way to me, but I figure I'd ask in the meantime to see if I was missing something obvious.
I replaced the CD player/changer in my juke, as the old one was not working, and now when I make the CD selection, the track will play fine for 20 seconds or so, player resets and the track starts over, and plays for about 20 seconds and then stops. If there is another selection in queue, it moves on to that selection and does the same thing if it's a cd selection. 45 selections of course work fine.
I've been known to overlook the obvious from time to time, so did I forget to plug something in, or plug something in in the wrong place? Or maybe I wired up something wrong on the CD player(though it only has 4 wires +5v, ground, controller and mute)

Check for cold solder joints on all the connector header pins on the Central Control Computer.

Make sure the selector switch is set to C D / Record position.

Check the battery voltage.

I was able to get the CD player up and running tonight. Turns out that when I replaced the player, I wired up the Play Signal wire to the wrong spot on the player (The board I have in the new player has different locations on it that the one I replaced, apparently W121 on old player and W121 on new player were different:eek:, should have been obvious to me I suppose but I'm new to all of this :D). When I tried to initialize the player, it would run for 20 seconds and then reset and repeat just like when it was playing. Since I had the signal wire soldered to the wrong point, the CCC wasn't getting the signal, so it would reset and try again, and shut down when that failed.

Anyhow big thanks goes out to klov member MrD. for sending me out a copy of the CD supplement.
