Hopefully someone can help. I got this juke for a great price and it sounded great at lower volumes.
As I turned it up I noticed the right channel would start to clip very badly. The overload light comes on as you might expect when the clipping of the audio happens in the right channel.
(Left channel is way good).
As I started troubleshooting I noticed that the BLACK common on the terminal strip was actually on E2 while the Left and Right Channel wires were at E5.
I moved the black wire back to E1 as the manual and stickers say and both channels get very noisey and clip.
Started troubleshooting and reading Ken posts it really looked like the transistors in the amp were bad. I checked all 4 today and they all read just like the new ones I bought (just in case). No blown fuses and the transistors I can check On the driver boards test good as well.
I thought this might be a Speaker short, however, when I swap the right and left channel wires in E5 the problem follows.
What are my next steps here?
Thanks for all the help!
