Good Morning,

I recently purchased my 1st jukebox, a Rowe CD-100A. Everything seems to work great on it when in free or pay play. It selects and plays any selection perfectly fine.
When I set it up for autoplay playback it seems to be very inconsistent. It loads the disc starts spinning, turns amp on and then rejects the disc. Usually plays only about one of every 4 selections it loads when in autoplay? Once again these same selections play just fine in free or pay play mode.
It is still using the original mech and a CD3 player. The CCC Ver. is 3.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm also looking for an original blue display cellophane if anyone has one laying around.

The "lightbulb" just came on!

Ok, after some more thought I think I solved my problem! I replaced the battery on the CCC board because I was getting a 14-05 RAM Checksum error everytime I powered up the juke. Now I realize that I never re-initialized all the discs. When in autoplay I remembered that it was picking track numbers higher then what some discs had. So it just rejected that disc and tried again. Every once in a while a valid track would pop up and play just fine! So when I get home tonight I will re-initialize all discs. I'm sure this will solve my problem!

This juke still has the old metal cage disc holder which over time marrs the outer edge of discs. So I'm planning on burning copies of the original installed CDs and replacing the discs with cheap CD-Rs, which to my suprise worked just fine on my old CD3 player!

I'm still looking for a blue cellophane display insert for my CD-100A

Thanks!

Mike
