Rowe BC3500 free button

I actually did that with mine. What I wound up doing was unsoldering one of the test switches from the board. Forget which one but it was the one that dumps 4 quarters per push (think it was the left one?) . Then the coin return button already had a micro switch installed for I think something that told the bill acceptor to run backwards for a bit when pushed. So I then just soldered some wires in it's place that i ran up to behind the button where the switch was and hooked it up to that. I left the original wires and just taped off the original connectors and tucked them in the back so if i ever sold it I could convert it back. But it works great. I can get some pics later when I get home from work in a few hours

How hard was it to get to the board where the test switch is solder in? looks like it will be tough to get to.

Something similar was done to mine, not sure which model mine is but it was as simple as running a couple of wires from the test button to the return button.

It wasn't too bad. It's been a while but I do want to say I had to remove the assembly with the coin chute on it. Think it was something like maybe 4 bolts and then remove a few molex connectors and it came out as one piece. then just was a matter of opening it up and getting the board out to do the work and then putting it back in. Might have to pull the coin hoppers to get it out. I can't remember off the top of my head though
