I just bought a Rowe BC100 Bill changer. I know nothing about them. It is missing the upper and lower stacker assemblies. My understanding is that they compact the bills into a small stack after sorting them.

I heard that I can just put a bucket in there to catch the dollar bills, and program a bypass on the upper and lower stackers. Right now, you feed in a dollar, and the computer readout on the pcb says stacker missing. Anyway to bypass this and get this thing running with just a cardboard box inside to collect falling bills? It is just for my home arcade.

Thanks
Rick

I believe that there is a switch that senses that a stacker is present. If you make tat switch it will just spit bills out of the bottom. I have seen people use a box before but it's messy.

I have been looking for the switch to bypass the bill stacker and cannot find it. I looked in the frame with no luck.

Also, the bill acceptor will not take bills. Keeps rejecting them. How do I clean it? Can I put alcohol on the scanning eyeballs?

Thanks
Rick

I pulled out the BA-50 acceptor, and it has two 2 triangle pcbs, one on the front and one on the rear of the unit. If I unscrew them, are the optics underneath? I have some alcohol to clean them.

Thanks
Rick
