Changer will only recognize the left hopper. Put the board, P/S, hopper, and billhead in another cabinent and it works fine. Put same parts from a known working changer into this cabinent get the same trouble.....machine err code (usually) then only see's left hopper. Have ohm'ed out all wires and they all seem to be ok. So, does anyone know causes the changer to only see one hopper? Also, the MCC payout option in the programming becomes unavailible and only shows the left hopper...help.

Got it fixed, thanks.

I have already read all of Bruno's stuff. The tech's at Rowe are pretty good too, they set me straight...

On older BC3500's theres a jumper on the coin mech side of the coin accpetor harness connector that tells the CCC that its in a 3 hopper machine. If that Jumper is missing or the coin mech assy is unplugged the computer will boot up thinking that its in a BC1200/BC1400/BC100.

On newer machines that jumper is in the harness. I'd be willing to bet that you have an older machine with the coin mech assy unplugged or the jumper is missing/cut.
