Question was working on the changer today and I got it basically functioning again. It just needed 2 light bulbs for the coin hoppers. :D So on to the question I fed a $1 bill in the thing and it makes a really nasty noise and the bill isn't getting sucked in the acceptor you have to psychically roll the one wheel to get it in so far before it takes it. I'm guessing it needs to be taken apart cleaned and oiled. Has anyone ever done this and what type of oil would you use to lubricate this thing so it doesn't sound like churning death any more.

Ah this is going to take a few days of reading thank you for the information. Just another thing I'm going to have to learn seems like I chose the right hobby you have to be a freaking rocket Scientist at every turn to keep this equipment in top shape.:D

Bruno knows his stuff and really does emphasize the importance of cleaning, oiling, and rebelting the bill acceptor.
