I started to work on my non-functioning BC-11 a few days ago. Thanks to these PDFs, I've made a lot of progress: http://www.eastcoastamusements.com/coin-op-service/bruno-s-page/

Originally, the CPU wouldn't turn on, so I opened it up and replaced a voltage regulator. That allowed the CPU to turn on, and I got a "flashing C" error. I found that one of the 755 lights behind the hoppers was out, so I replaced that. Then I had a "non-flashing 4" error and the P4 error light was on. It took me a while, but I found out that there were 2 lights on the bill acceptor, and the back one was out. I replaced it, and now I'm stuck at a "flashing 8" error.

I don't have the manual for this machine and can't find a PDF online. I can't find anything that tells me what a flashing 8 means.

Anyone know what I could look at next?

Thanks for the link. If it comes down to it, i'll buy a manual. I was hoping something a PDF was available, but apparently Rowe still sells them.

I received a PM from someone who helped me out and was able to get past the flashing 8 error. Thanks!

This may be an old post but how did you get past the flashing 8....Thankyou....Dave

I'm not sure. I have a solid 6 on a machine I just bought yesterday, but I can't seem to download a manual anywhere.

Not sure about buying a bootleg one either. Not only is it illegal, but I paid about that much for the 30 year old machine.

The manual link I posted earlier is still valid. They are an authorized Rowe distributor. You will not find any free Rowe changer downloads.
