Rowe BA-50 Bill Acceptor problems...can I bypass it?

I have a BC-100 changer for my gameroom. The BA-50 keeps rejecting bills. I just use the thing for a novelty in my gameroom. The repairs are expensive. Can I set it or re-wire it to always accept anything? Will setting the "B" setting to "no" fix the rejecting problem? How does one do that?

It looks in good shape. I cleaned the optics x4. No change. Not sure what else to try.

Thanks,
Rick

Test the dispenser. the power supply and the control board
first. by counting the the tokens that drop from the escrow bucket
do you have the manual??
all models would be treated the same, some have different feature
plus or minus more hoppers.
Mr Bruno is to detailed for the normal user, but you can always read
his info.let me know by sending a message to my PM

For normal use, disable "Bill B Check" if it is on.

Also, what errors are you seeing on the computer when it rejects a bill?

Timing is important...make sure the lower belts in the transport are even and snug, but not to the point of slowing down or straining the motor.

Is the MAG head clean? If you have a cleaner card, try running it through to clean the belts, MAG head, and pressure rollers.

Most importantly, check the wire harness to the transport. This harness wears out quickly if it is removed more than a few times. I usually solder the wires directly to the board in the bill transport, since paying $30+ each.
