I have a nice Rowe AMI JAO 'Bandstand' jukebox that I am overhauling. I am recapping the amp and preamp, cleaning everything up and rewiring the crusty stuff. However the power supply has an old selenium rectifier in it and a 1000mfd 50VDC cap on it. I have a few extra KBPC1010 (1000V; 150A; 700V; 10A) rectifiers laying around, will one of these replace the old selenium unit?

Will they suffice to replace the large can type cap on the power supply? The old one is about 3 inches tall and probably 1 inch in diameter. These new ones are 1 inch tall and 1/2 inch in diameter.
