No, not the game bubbles...
Im trying to roll a cabinet with a foam roller and latex paint over kilz2 primer. The primer went on ok - but as I roll the latex on it gets little air bubbles in it. I know its not the primer because on the bottom It happened right over the wood (no primer) with a diffrent brand latex. I thought it was because it wasnt primed or the paint was old - but this brand new paint im using on the sides is doing it over primer too.
Now if I lay the paint on and go REAL SLOW with the roller its ok, however I cant get the paint to lay down nicely
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jeff

bubbles

This painting problem is called blistering and is usually caused by excessive moister under the newly applied paint film or surface contamination.

It is possible when you wiped down the cab you deposited moister that affected the paint, but this is very rare. A better possibility is some kind of surface contamination. Many things can affect the paint; these include soap and grease. Unfortunately, there is no way to know for sure.

how long did you let the primer dry i used the same paint in my room and it came out great but on my cab i put kilz primer and painted it the same day a couple of hours later and it got all those tiny bubbles i should have let the primer dry for more time i think i just got in a hurry
