I was digging through a building that is set for demo in a couple weeks and found a EM Rollercoaster in bad shape but the backglass was in great shape. It would have taken a lot of effort to get it out so I walked away. Is it wrong that the thing is haunting me now. I don't know that machine, is it worth going back after?

I'd have gotten it out personally, if at all possible; cool old Gottlieb - love the little ramps from the outholes! Lotta parts you could get from it if the cabinet and playfield were truly trashed - the backglass at the very least...

Go get it - you can always give it away later, but once it's gone, that's it.

Weird, never heard of a roller coaster until I saw the trashed one. I kept thinking about it and toinght I found an ad and agreed to buy one in non-working condition. If the snow storm will let up I'm going after the parts machine.

Roller Coaster was my first pin and it still hurts me that I sold it. It's a very fun EM with a couple of gimmicks (the "roller coaster" habitrails from the pop out holes) and a very cool feature (the middle score reel spinner) that makes multiplayer games strategic.

If I ever get enough room I'll work on getting one back in. Loved that game.

Good deal; hopefully it's still there! Post some pic's when you have it safely home!

Weather here is crap. Fifteen degrees, thirty mile an hour winds the recovery of the rollercoaster will have to wait. If I get it I'll get up some pics.
