Newb her so excuse my lack of knowledge please. Can u just put these into a rock tumbler like kids use? Do you use the abrasive powders that are included or something else? Also how long do you tumble for? It says 2-4 weeks for the rocks but that cant be right for these. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you are asking about... do you have a picture?

No pic sorry its actually ixtlanns machines I was asking for him. Mabye he can chime in and help explain?

He showed it to me its like the curved metal wire that pos up through playfield and ball rolls over? Sorry I am just learning and trying to help out a buddy.

No its a metal wire that is attached to underside of playfield but pops up through it for the ball to roll over. Sorry Ill try to get a pic today.

NEVR-DULL should clean them up pretty well.
If you want to "tumble" them, I put things like this in a vibratory polisher with crushed walnut shells and Novus 3 (or Fitz? I've only used Novus). I leave them in for 12-18 hrs depending on how crud-laden they are. Adding rice to the mix is supposed to polish them better, but it does make a lot more dusty mess (which is bad enough to start with).
cheers

I always clean them by hand with a metal polish. If they're really nasty then you can go at them with 0000 steel wool (wet with your polish).

Thanks for the ideas. Id like to try tumbling them and I have a rock tumbler can i use the novus and walnut shells in it? Where can I pick the shells up at? It came with 3 different abrasive powders to use on the rocks has anyone tried that on small metal parts? It is a Haunted house machine if that helps explain what Im working on? Thanks

Good infos thanks to all that replied. Yes the haunted house roll overs are reeeealy cruddy. The machine spend time in a garage with no glasssin for atleast a couple years. All the metal was super nasty. I just the other day figured out how to remove the roll overs! I am super excited to clean them up/ get clean one into my machine!
I have some AWESOME polish that will probably work ok now that I know how to get them out.
I wanna try the tumbler plus abrassives plus my super awesome polish together!

I've never used a rock tumbler... you could always give it a spin (ha ha).
You can get the walnut shells at pretty much any pet store (they use it as bedding). don't put any bigger metal parts in with the rollover switches tho as you are likely to bend them.
