Hey guys,

Long story short, I went to purchase a Shinobi cabinet earlier today and ended up with a roller games in the back of my SUV. Cabinet was in nicer shape than the Shinobi and for the same price, it was a no brainer. My question is how rare is this thing? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on it out there. Should I restore it (it seems dedicated) or convert it to a Shinobi which was originally what I wanted. Also, I believe it's JAMMA correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I like Rollergames, it's a fun combination of a fighting game and a race game. Plus, it's based on the short lived TV series. I believe it was a conversion kit only, not a dedicated. My hometown arcade had one in a Taito Jungle Hunt cab BITD. Can you post a picture?

O man...
Does it have SUPER ANNOYING attract mode music screaming Rock, Rock, Rockin Rollergames? If so Do not turn it on cause the song will be stuck in your head FOREVER!
I have the Pin and play it a TON and that song wakes me up from my sleep every now and then.
Enjoy and please do post pics as I have never seen one, but used to play it on the NES or SNES port.

I am gonna be "that guy " and ask... If you wanted a Shinobi so badly, why did you pass it up for some mystery game to convert?

I am afraid I have only played the pin which is pretty fun though. Not my favorite Ritchie, but up there. Even with the soundtrack. :p I actually enjoy it better than either bk's (Blasphemy to some people, i am sure).

I passed up the Shinobi because the cabinet was in rough shape, had no board, no monitor chassis and the wiring was a bit shoty so when compared to the Roller Games, it was a clear decision plus I figured the game bein Jamma, I can convert it to Shinobi easily.

So vertict is, Restore or Convert?
