Roll Call for AGS Kingsport Tenn. auction 11/6/10

Any final reports for how the auction was?

What kinds of pins were there?

Don't remember most of them but there was:

Elvis
Sopranos
Dale Jr
Batman Forever
Dr. Dude - nice
High Speed
Fire
Spirit of 76
Funhouse
Adams Family
Star Wars
Family Guy

On the vids like Neo Geo, Area 51, Max Force, prices went pretty high for the most part. I should have brought a few to sell. About everything I was interested in went higher than normal

A ratty Pac-Man cabinet with board and monitor problems went for $375

A nice Make Trax cocktail went for $250. Which I thought was high since the game sucks.

A DK 3 with monitor problems and missing the back door was over $200.

A really nice dedicated Neo Geo 2 slot went for $375.

A non-working Neo conversion missing the monitor bezel and monitor glass went for like $150

The only thing I bought on the first row was a Millipede/ Centipede/M.C. combo for $325. It was the only one on that row I thought I could make some money on.

I don't like this auction company. WTF 2 auctioneers??? I understand they are trying to move quickly but if there are multiple items you want to bid in different rows your screwed.

They are slow as hell checking you out too. I guess they must be using an Apple 2 computer or something..

I will say there was nice stuff there but the place was flooded with operators so not too many deals for us little guys.

I got a pp cockpit that I believe was converted to pp2, it has a board problem, havent looked into it yet, I will today after work, paid 50 for it, got an xmen children of the atom that I thought was an interesting conversion for 110 bucks, turned out to be converted from a nintendo super system cab, but actually looks pretty cool, (I'll post pictures later) and I got a fighting game called ehrgeiz for 30 bucks that needs a little monitor work, otherwise looks and works pretty good. I'll agree the check out was wayyyyy too long. Wish I could have run into some klovers, but I wasnt sure whos who, and there were ALOT of ops there, and some of the games went for stupid amounts of money. I saw a trashed non working jurrasic park pinball go for like five hundred dollars....psh!

I got a decent donkey kong for 175.00. A nice upright crusin USA for 190 that only needed the monitor adjusted. The older pins were crazy over priced but some of the newer stuff wasn't bad still high. I thought a lot of the classics were way over priced. Did any body see the homemade Galaga mini running a gallag bootleg with a horrible looking monitor I think sold for 2 or 3 hundred thought I could snag that for parts wow.

Yep, I saw it! The horrible wood paneling cab......note to self, bring junk games early on so they get into the first row and people pay stupid amounts of money for them.....

That moon patrol was in good shape! I was interested in the joust, but it needed alot of love...

I picked up the Joust to give the love to it, along with many other projects.
Also picked up the Xybots, Pole Position with the super bright monitor, Operation Wolf on the last row, Spirit of 76 pinball, the junked Evil Kenevel pin ball, the old upright scale, the Tommy lift truck gate, a big box of boards, a pinball play field.
And my son picked up; two part machines, two crane machines ($15.00 for the pair) and two monitors...........Fun,fun...........
