It was my first time going and it was really cool. They had over 100 pins and about a dozen arcades there. I took my nephew for his birthday. His dad, as well as my wife and daughter wanted to come too. Today is the last day of it. It was a three day event with big tourneys and free kids tourney. My wife got to play her favorite pin...Indianna Jones. I got to play mine...Medievil Madness. My nephew decided he liked the NASCAR the best. Here's a few shots.

That's your wife? Did you see the Denver Post today? There's a pic of her and the baby!

Cool!

Here's the link:http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_17967437

They screwed it up though, the text under the pics of the woodrails is right but the pic is wrong.

BTW, the Casino woodrail in the left of the pic used to be mine. :) Sold it to Tim and he's got it playing nice.

My wife and I went friday night. A little crowded, but still a good time. Fell in love with lotr, too bad it's out of my price range at this point

Did you see that overmodded one? Holy shit it was horrible, I should of taken a pic. Gigantic tarantula on the left lanes with all the little figures mounted everywhere. barf

John and Robert are both VRPA members!! Great finish!

The final results from the match just completed:

1-John Kremmer (300 bucks, trophy pllus PAPA 14 registration and two division entries)
2-Robert Gagno (100 bucks, trophy plus PAPA 14 registration and two div. entries)
3-Keith Elwin (50 bucks, trophy plus 2 PAPA 14 div entries)

It was a double elimination format, best of three match rounds. Robert had to play Keith twice, first knocking him to Losers bracket, then facing him again to decide between second and third finishing. Robert vs John in final match....VRPA vs VRPA!! Each won one game in final match, then John won third game. Way to go guys! VRPA always seems to do well in EM at tournaments!

Yeah, I saw that one as we were leaving. I played the other one several times though. I didn't think all of the toys were that bad, but it was definitely overly crowded

I couldn't make it this year, but will be back in attendance next year. I heard that it made a big step up in quality, so I'm extra bummed out that I couldn't make the trip.

I'm glad that people had a great time. We could use a show like this that keeps getting better here in the Rockies for us Utah/Colorado/New Mexico/Wyoming pinheads.

Ya, is was a great show this year. The new place is great, I like it much more than the showgrounds. Of course being 10 mins from my place helps. Always good to see old friend and meet new people, sorry if I missed meeting some of you guys. I took a couple of machines and they held up great, nice not having to dork with them throughout the weekend. I'm curious to see how many plays they got and what kind of scores I need to beat to take the board back over.
