So my R & B is missing the "Lion" plastic that he should normally pull out of his hat (in the rear back box)

I ordered a brand new set (with all three characters) for the hat trick assembly but it seems that they are too thick ?!?!

They don't slide down the existing grooves in the foam that is currently there...

Do i need to buy new foam or something and can i stretch the stuff out there is currently there or what?

Not really sure what to do...

Thanks in advance :)

Now with Pictures...

After taking a 2nd look, they are not "foam" they are simply plastic guide rails...

The repro's i got are just a little thicker than the original ones i guess so they dont "slide" up and down the channel... I almost have to wedge the sucker in there (so clearly that won't work because it wont move freely)...

Well damn.

I guess even if i could find new channels they would be the same size?

So what? Do i have to find someone to lasercut a milimeter or two off my plastic??

Is that even possible ?? LOL

I had to replace one on mine with the same problem. I took a file and tapered the edge so it would slide freely in the channel. I saw no easy way to modify the channel.

Good luck

HEY THANKS! Thats a good idea.

Just file down the sides since the middle fatness really doesnt matter... good call.

I'll try it soon.

The whole hat trick assembly is a PITA, I constantly have issues with it. Broken plastics are common because the design of the whole assembly is terrible.

I agree, just sand down the edges.
